I am a software developer determined to build great products. I have a background in Computer Science from Brown, but know that high-quality engineering is just the beginning of creating a successful product. I am upbeat. I enjoy working as part of a team including the communication that that requires. I execute with attention to detail. And I relish learning of all sorts.

I refine my development process as experience demonstrates what works and what doesn't. I learn from other C5ers by pairing, chatting informally over lunch, and through internal groups—such as the UX initiative that Carbon Five launched around the time I joined. And I delight in reading a variety of practical non-fiction, to learn from the experience and research of people I've never met. Recent favorites include:

When I'm not at the C5 SF office, I'm lifting weights, cooking, reading about nutrition, or working on my own web apps. I also like to watch bad TV (guilty pleasure), to dabble in foreign languages, and to explore the outdoors.
