YackPack Unveils Online Voice Messaging Product at DEMOfall

Carbon Five would like to congratulate its client, YackPack, on a successful unveiling of their application at this year's DEMOfall convention. YackPack provides a simple yet innovative online interface for voice messaging within "Packs" of people. It features the ability to send or receive voice messages from one or more people through any Flash equipped web browser, thus combining the convenience of email with the nuance of voice communication.

The service is a Macromedia Flash client application that connects to Communications server for audio streaming and a web-service layer for the rest of its back-end needs. Carbon Five is pleased to supply J2EE server-side expertise as well as client-side ActionScript development resources to the project.
