Our DEIB mission statement.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging

At Carbon Five, we recognize that the work of creating a just world will never be completed, and our growth is in flight. We value honesty and self-reflection, and are committed to doing the hard work over the long run that is required for true institutional change. We want to build a team that reflects the diversity of identities in the communities we live in — not just the dominant paradigm in the tech world.

We understand that equity is a core component of justice.

We hold ourselves accountable for pay and title equity through data analysis. We strive to be a community where not only all are welcome to be themselves without fear of discrimination, but are encouraging of each other to thrive. We foster a culture where people are empowered to stand up for themselves and each other.

We know that DEIB work cannot happen in isolation.
